In the Vic Super Slam tonight, some rain, wind and bad light ended some matches prematurely, with the DLS claiming four matches. The Blues (Renegades Pool) and the Heat (Stars Pool) remain undefeated, one point ahead of the Dragons, while another six teams are all level on two wins across both groups.
In the Renegades Pool, the Dragons' Mark Phelan led the way with an unbeaten 83 against the Lions, who fell 19 short in reply. The Demons were too good for the Kangaroos, the Cats knocked off the Bombers via the DLS Method at Geelong and the Blues beat Melbourne Uni at Uni.
In the Stars Pool, the True Blues posted the evening's highest score with 4/155 against the Heat, but the away side, led by Brodie Symons' 49* got up with three balls to spare in a thriller amidst the gloom at Toorak Park. The Panthers knocked off the Saints, the Magpies beat the Rams and the Tigers beat the Swans in the other games.
Round 4 will be played in two weeks' time on Wednesday evening, 20 November.
